Overview
高崎電気館での「爆音映画祭 in 高崎」（10月2日〜4日）のプレイベントとして、9月26日（土）・27日（日）の2日間、スペシャルライヴが開催されます。
27日（日）は、インストゥルメンタル・バンドのMUGAMICHILL（ナスノミツル、中村弘二、中村達也）が映像と融合したスペシャルライヴを行います。
映像は金村修と小松浩子によるもので、二人の映像をつなぎ、一本の作品として構成しています。
9月26日（土）は、甫木元空、前野健太が出演します。
爆音上映とは、ライヴ用の音響システムを使い、大音響の中で映画を見・聴く試みです。2004年に吉祥寺バウスシアターで始まり、2008年からは映画祭として展開しています。その爆音によって視覚までもが変容し、映画そのものが違って見えてきます。大音響でなければ聴こえてこない幽かな音を聴く、大胆かつ繊細な上映です。
As a pre-event for Bakuon Film Festival in Takasaki 2026 (October 2–4), special live performances will be held on September 26 and 27 at Takasaki Denkikan.
On Sunday, September 27, the instrumental band MUGAMICHILL — Mitsuru Nasuno, Koji Nakamura (ex. SUPERCAR) and Tatsuya Nakamura (ex. BLANKEY JET CITY) — will perform with moving images by Osamu Kanemura and Hiroko Komatsu. Their footage has been edited together into a single continuous work for this performance.
On Saturday, September 26, Sora Hokimoto and Kenta Maeno will perform.
“Bakuon” (extreme volume) screening is an attempt to watch and listen to films through a live sound system at very high volume. Begun in 2004 at Baus Theater in Kichijoji, Tokyo, and running as a festival since 2008, it transforms not only what is heard but what is seen — a bold and at the same time delicate form of screening, in which faint sounds become audible only at such volume.
